Intern for the Engineering/Mapping department:

• This internship opportunity is for undergraduate college students pursuing a degree in the engineering, mathematical sciences, or technical fields.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with mapping projects and working with processes that update various GIS and other database systems.

Preferred Skills/Program/Experience: 

• ArcMap / ArcGIS Software
• GIS Editing
• GIS Processing

• General PC use
  • Downloading/Uploading files
  • Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
    • Excel, Text and CSV file formats
• Databases (Access, Postgres, SQL Server)   
• Apple iPad use
• Any general GIS/mapping experience would be a plus
  • Google Maps / Google Earth
  • Apple Maps
  • Coordinates (longitude/latitude)
