We are seeking a skilled and innovative Geospatial Systems Engineer with strong expertise in ArcGIS to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining geospatial systems and solutions to support our organization’s goals. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and effective communication to deliver cutting-edge geospatial technologies and insights. This is a 3 month contract to hire and has hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• System Design & Implementation:
• Develop and implement geospatial systems and applications using ArcGIS and other GIS technologies.
• Design scalable solutions to process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data efficiently.
• Integrate geospatial systems with existing IT infrastructure, databases, and APIs.
• Data Management & Analysis:
• Manage, process, and analyze geospatial datasets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Create custom scripts and tools for data transformation, automation, and advanced analysis using Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Application Development:
• Design and deploy web-based GIS applications and dashboards using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and associated tools.
• Develop custom widgets and extensions for ArcGIS Pro or Web AppBuilder.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide geospatial insights and solutions.
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation for users of geospatial systems and tools.
• Innovation & Strategy:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest geospatial technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Propose and implement strategies to optimize geospatial workflows and improve decision-making processes.

$35 - $50 an hour
