Job Summary:

This position is responsible for: (1) working with field teams and surveying project managers in coordinating UAV photogrammetry, LiDAR flights and terrestrial scans, (2) register and process photogrammetry aerial images, LiDAR data and terrestrial scans, (4) ensure QAQC processes are being met.

Accountability and Duties:

  • Ensures timesheets are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Builds and maintains client and inter-office staff relationships.
  • Monitors project budgets and hours allocated to complete projects.
  • Ensures that services being provided are covered by contract scope.
  • Keeps Technology and/or Geospatial Manager informed of workload and any changes in projects.
  • Organizes and maintains geospatial job files.
  • Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • FAA Part 107 certification (preferred , but not required; position will require an FAA Part 107 certification within 1 year of hire).
  • Valid driver’s license

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and technical written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work the hours necessary to complete a project on time.
  • Available to travel to overnight project sites.
  • Ability to make independent decisions within a general framework.
  • Knowledge of industry related software.
  • Proficient in GNSS equipment, LiDAR and point clouds, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center and Microsoft Office (if applicable).
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
