Position Summary:   The Office of the Indian River County Property Appraiser is accepting applications for our GIS Analyst I position. This is an entry level technical position where the individual will maintain parcel data and other related layers. After the initial training period, the individual will review recorded legal documents and map legal 
descriptions for the purpose of maintaining property appraisal information in the Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal System (CAMA) and the Geographic Information 
System. Other duties include assisting in creating and maintaining ArcGIS Online layers, maps, and applications. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with constituents, elected officials, and property appraisers. Starting salary is dependent on education, experience, and qualifications. 

Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience with GIS using ESRI ArcMap\Pro software or AutoCAD\surveying software 
preferred. Ability to read, study, and learn skills regarding the practice of cadastral GIS methods.
