Gibson Electric has a GIS Technician (Fiber) position now open in the Trenton Member Service Center at 1207 S College St., Trenton, TN.

This position constructs, maintains, and publishes the ESRI-based mapping system for fiber and electric distribution facilities; prepares data to be used in mapping viewers, staking and outage management; and prepares maps of system for internal and external use.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified applicants must have an Associates degree in computer/GIS, drafting or related; one year experience in electronic mapping; basic knowledge of electric distribution and fiber design systems along with other requirements as described in the complete position description.
