We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tidelands Research Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough searches of New Jersey tidelands, including tidelands grants, leases, and licenses. This role involves creating detailed reports and maps using ArcGIS Pro and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection databases.

This is an in-person position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive tidelands searches and prepare detailed maps.

• Review and analyze maps.

• Retrieve copies of grants, leases, and licenses relevant to claimed areas.

• Stay updated on the latest regulations affecting tidelands.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro is essential.

• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with New Jersey tidelands regulations is a plus.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
